If your website feels outdated, hard to use, or just isn't bringing in business, it's time for a change. People decide in seconds, and a clunky site quietly shows them the door.

FAQ

Your website design questions, answered.

  • How much does a website cost?

Website cost depends on your business, your goals, and what the site needs to accomplish. A simple informational site and a lead-generating website built for multiple services or locations are two very different projects.

But here's the better question: What is one new customer worth to your business?

For some companies, that may be a few thousand dollars. For others, it could be six figures. Your website should make sense for the business, not just look good on a screen.

It’s also worth considering what an underperforming website may already be costing you:

    • Good prospects leaving for a competitor

    • People never finding you in search

    • A dated appearance that makes strong work look less credible

    • Leads from the wrong customers, or no leads at all

    • Time and money spent on something that isn’t working

A website built the right way should work in your favor. It should reach the right people, earn trust, and make the next step easy. So before asking only what a good website costs, take a hard look at what the wrong website may already be costing you.

  • How long does it take to build a website?

Most websites go live within six to eight weeks. Heavier projects can run up to three months, especially when we're working alongside a client's internal team. Every project comes with a week-by-week timeline and clear deliverables on both sides.

We build in flexibility for when life gets in the way, and we move fast when you're ready to move fast.

  • Do I have to write my own website content?

Not at all. We include purpose-driven content writing as part of your website package. You're also welcome to provide your own written content if you'd prefer.

Our content is written with clarity and purpose, guiding visitors toward the actions you want them to take, whether that's calling, booking, buying, or reaching out. Moving people toward the results you're after is the difference between a site that looks nice and one that works for your business. It's the brains behind the beauty, and it's built into every project.

  • Can a new website help me show up on Google?

Yes. Every website we build is designed to be findable on search engines, so when someone searches for your business by name, you show up.

Showing up when someone searches your business name is different from ranking high when people search for your product or service in general. That kind of "ranking" is called SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and it's a service of its own that we are great at. We're upfront about the difference so you know exactly what your website does on its own and what takes a bigger push.

  • Do you offer ongoing website support after launch?

Absolutely. Every client we design for is enrolled in our Website Management Partnership plan from day one, so you never have to take on more work or make another hire just to keep your website current.

Need a photo swapped, text updated, a team member added, or a document uploaded? Send us a message and we handle it. Those are the kinds of updates we take care of, so you can stay focused on running your business.

Most routine updates are completed within five business days and no later than 10 business days. More involved requests may take longer.

  • Will I own my website?

Yes. You own the design and content of your website. We’ll never hold it hostage or force you to stay with us just to keep what you paid for.

As long as you own or have access to your domain, you’re free to move or redesign your website wherever you choose. We can also provide an export of your published content to help make the move easier for you at no extra charge.

Just keep in mind that moving the site ends our Website Management Partnership plan, and it may not look or function exactly the same on a different platform.

  • What should I look for in a website designer near me?

When searching "website designer near me", start with their past work. A good website designer should have examples you can click through to view real websites they've designed, not just pretty pictures. Look at whether those sites are easy to use and clear about what the business does, because that's what yours needs to be too.

Hiring a website designer near you can help if you want a local touch, but plenty of great work happens remotely these days. What matters more is finding someone who asks what you want your site to do before they start designing and writes in a way that sells your business to your target market.

Ask the practical stuff like who owns the website when it's done, what happens if you need changes later, and whether they'll help you get found on Google.

You should walk away knowing exactly what you're getting instead of crossing your fingers and hoping.
