Getting Started
What happens after I contact SureThing Media?
We’ll review what you send and reach out to schedule a conversation. We’ll talk about what you want to accomplish, what may be getting in the way, and whether we’re the right fit to help.
If it makes sense to move forward, we’ll recommend a starting point and explain what happens next.
What kinds of businesses are a good fit for SureThing Media?
We work best with businesses that value good thinking, honest guidance, and are ready to stack small wins that build big momentum.
Our clients range from startups and local service companies to law firms, contractors, realtors, industrial companies, and large B2B organizations.
You do not need a large team or a perfect plan. You do need to care about doing things well and be ready to invest in moving forward.
Can you work alongside our internal team or other vendors?
Yes. We work with owners, c-suite executives, internal marketing teams, sales teams, and trusted outside partners. We make sure responsibilities are clear, communication stays organized, and everyone understands what they are responsible for.
Where is SureThing Media located, and where do you work?
SureThing Media is a marketing agency based in Richmond, Texas, serving businesses across Texas and throughout the United States. Most of our work can be handled remotely, so geography rarely gets in the way of a good fit.
If you want to build momentum and grow your business, we can certainly help.
Projects, Pricing & Payments
How do you price projects?
Every project is priced around your goals, the scope, the time involved, and the expertise needed to do it well.
We first learn what you want to accomplish, then provide a written proposal outlining the recommendations, deliverables, timeline, and cost before anything begins.
Do you require a deposit or offer payment schedules?
Payment terms depend on the size and type of project. Your proposal will explain what is due to begin and how the remaining investment is scheduled, so you know exactly what to expect before signing.
What happens if the project scope changes?
Sometimes a project grows once everyone gets into it. If you request something outside the agreed scope, we will explain what changed, how it affects the cost or timeline, and get your approval before moving forward.
You will never receive a surprise invoice from us.
Can we start with one priority and add more later?
Yes. In many cases, that is the smartest way to begin. We can focus on the most pressing need first, then add other services when the timing and budget make sense.
What happens if the timing or budget is not right?
We will tell you what we believe matters most and what can wait. Sometimes that means scaling the project down, handling it in phases, or holding off until the business is in a better position to move forward.
We would rather help you make a sound decision than push you into something you are not ready for.
Website Ownership & Management
Do I own my website?
Yes. You own the overall design and content of your website. We start with a blank canvas and design around your brand, goals, and needs.
Do you manage our website for us?
Yes. Our Website Management Partnership plan gives you an experienced team to manage your website after launch, so it does not become another responsibility on your plate. We handle routine content updates, platform oversight, integrations, troubleshooting, and other ongoing website needs.
You still own the website. If you decide to manage it yourself, we can transfer it to your own account. From that point forward, you become fully responsible for every update, setting, integration, and fix, including anything that gets changed, stops working, or breaks along the way.
What kinds of website updates are included?
The partnership includes reasonable updates to content already on the website. That may include text edits, image swaps, link changes, document uploads, staff updates, and installing client-provided items such as certifications, forms, and analytics tools.
What is not included in website management?
New page additions, copywriting, redesigns, custom functionality, large publishing projects, SEO, and marketing campaigns are priced separately. If a request falls outside the partnership, we will explain why and provide a price before moving forward.
How quickly are website update requests completed?
Most routine updates are completed within five business days and no later than 10 business days. More involved requests may take longer.
Can someone on our team make website updates?
Most clients leave website updates to us, which is the purpose of the Website Management Partnership. This protects the design, functionality, tracking, and other parts of the website that can be affected by an innocent-looking change.
If someone on your team needs access, we can discuss limited access for one approved point of contact. Any troubleshooting, repairs, cleanup, or recovery required because of client-made changes, third-party access, or a compromised login falls outside the partnership and will be billed separately.
SEO & AI Search
Can you track our visibility in AI search?
Yes. We can monitor whether your business appears in AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google’s AI search experiences.
AI results can change based on the platform, question, location, and user, so there is no single position to track. We look for patterns over time to see where your business is appearing, what sources are being cited, and where visibility may be improving.
Do you manage Google Business Profiles?
Yes. We can optimize and manage your Google Business Profile as part of your strategy. That may include updating business information, services, categories, photos, posts, and other details that help nearby customers and search engines understand more of what makes your business unique.
Can local SEO help me reach surrounding cities?
Yes, but the approach depends on where you are located and how you serve customers. Your proximity to the person searching affects Google Maps visibility, so no agency can promise the same reach in every nearby city.
We can also design website content around the surrounding markets that make sense for your business, giving you another way to reach customers outside your immediate area.
Does SEO work for B2B companies?
Yes. B2B SEO helps companies reach decision-makers while they research problems, compare providers, and build a shortlist.
The goal is not always a large number of leads. It is getting in front of the right buyers for larger projects, longer relationships, and opportunities that may take more time to close.
